COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Message to Members

Update 3/19/2020 - Per Executive Order N-33-20 “Stay at home except for essential needs”, OMSEFCU has been granted an exemption to remain open as a part of a critical infrastructure sector to serve member cash needs.

Effective Monday, March 23rd, we will reduce our open branch access hours to Monday-Friday from 10am-3pm.  We will answer phones to support remote service delivery until 4pm. Mobile check-RDC release times/availability remain unchanged at this time.

We would like our membership to know that we are deeply concerned about the impact of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and we are closely monitoring the latest reports from the CDC, local government officials and OMSD.  The safety and wellness of our members, staff and community is a top concern. We are dedicated to supporting members that may experience a hardship due to the COVID-19. We have taken steps to ensure the wellness and safety of our team and visiting members. Members and staff have access to hand sanitizing units throughout our office.

We have instructed staff to do the following:

  • Stay home if they feel sick
  • Avoid close contact with people that are unwell
  • Wash hands thoroughly and often
  • Avoid touching transmission points which include the mouth, eyes and nose
  • Regularly sanitize desks, phones, keyboards, etc.

We encourage members to use our remote service delivery channels when possible until conditions stabilize.

We will communicate with members should conditions change which may result in any unavoidable disruption to our regular level of service and branch access.
