OMSEFCU Federal Deposit Insurance Now Increased to $250,000
Please note that the newly approved Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 increases the
minimum federal insurance coverage immediately on your Ontario-Montclair School Employees
Federal Credit Union accounts from $100,000 to $250,000. Additional coverage may be available
beyond this $250,000 limit, through different forms of ownership, such as joint accounts, IRA's, trust
accounts, etc.
Deposits in OMSEFCU are insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a federal
agency. The NCUA, like the FDIC, is backed by the full faith and credit of the United States
